In 60 Minutes: Crisis at the Red Sea/The Electors/Finding Cillian Murphy (2024). I was completely glued to the screen from start to finish. The number of scenes with zero dialogue that have so much atmosphere and emotion is incredible. Cillian Murphy is absolutely amazing in this film, as I expected him to be. . But the emotion he shows in this film and the way he acts through his body language and facial expressions is great. He truly is one of the best actors of this generation. Emily Watson is terrifying as the Mother Superior. The tension she brings to every scene is fantastic. It really shows how horrible some of the nuns were at that time. The perfect running time for this film was 1 hour and 45 minutes. It felt even longer because I was immersed in it. The score and cinematography were so simple yet so effective. They both added so much to the film and just added the necessary touches. Overall, this film was absolutely stunning and very enjoyable. I would love to see more films like this in the future.
